Fenris/Hawke, Hawke/Jethann

We know a lot of stuff happened in quick succession following Fenris walking out on Hawke. Hawke's mother died, Hawke became champion of Kirkwall, maybe Legacy DLC events and Mark of the Assassin DLC events, etc, etc. But eventually, things did calm down. What did Hawke do during that time when he/she was still in love with Fenris but couldn't have him.

My head canon is that Hawke sometimes turned to Jethann but it wasn't good. Like Hawke did his/her best to have fun and ensure Jethann was having fun too but most of the time the sex just ended with Hawke feeling worse because at the end of the day, Jethann wasn't Fenris and these encounters were not helping Hawke get over Fenris. Indeed, it was driving home the fact that Hawke would never truly be over Fenris!

I just want a lot of angst and (seeming) unrequited love but would be nice for it to end on a happy note with Fenris and Hawke back together. Would also like Jethann to be a proper character and explore what he thinks of the Hawke and Fenris situation.
