A dumping ground for various fic prompts. Should any of these receive actual writing installments, they'll be deleted from here and reposted to the WIP Fic Post.
This probably isn't going to happen, considering I've decided to go ahead with my Arrested Development fic.
Arrested Development Inspired Erotica Trilogy
Themes: > accidental incest (and not-so-accidental incest) > fake houses & living in places other than houses > scams, grifting, & traditional jobs v. hustles > Willy Wonka (golden tickets, rival candy bar called the
Thomas (Michael), Lizzie (Lindsay), Rod (Gob), Rob Thomas (George Michael), Em (Maeby), Buddy (Buster), Anthony (Tobias), Robert (George), Mona (Lucille), Otis (Oscar), Liv
They have a toy company, maybe, instead of a real estate company? And instead of the banana stand, it's a candy bar. (Get it?)
Lizzie should be much artsier and hippier than Lindsay; Rod is as perpetually unemployed as Lizzie and Bud (and kind of occassionally makes money via accidental sex work); Anthony is dead & Robert soon is, too.
Lizzie is into Thomas, who is repulsed by the very thought. Rod is also pretty clearly into Thomas, who would be repulsed if he realized iou. RT and Em are secretly dating. Liv is (mutually) into Rod and later Thomas... only to discover way too late that they're actually her half-brothers. Bud is probably into Liv, but he's so immature with so many mommy issues that its kinda obscure.
Anthony is a dentist who is completely convinced that Lizzie is a lesbian perpetually about to leave him for a woman. He eventually comes out as trans.
The halfway point of the first story is Liv finding out that she's the Dreyfus's cousin (via Otis). Then she finds out she's not. And then, at the end, she finds out she's actually their half-sister (via Robert).
Main Plotlines for Characters Thomas is trying to save his family's business. Lizzie wants to make a sex toy company under the Dreyfus name. Rod wants to have a relationship with Liv (rich! hot! poly-bi!) but also avoid getting "tied down"... and yet he doesn't know how to handle it when Liv is actually totally okay with casual/poly and all the shit he'd normally use to self-destructively drive a woman away. RT and Em are just trying to keep their relationship under wraps. Robert is trying to get out of prison. Mona is trying to make sure *she* doesn't go to prison. Liv is trying to get her Jill-of-all-trades career on the right track, from publishing her ridiculous Twilight-esque romance novel to putting out ludicrous music videos to getting cast in some of the most nonsensical acting roles. Lizzie is like a hippier version of Liv. She's got just as much hustle; it's just that Lizzie's hustles are shit like poorly thought-out animal rescuing, vermicomposting, chicken farming, etc. and extreme feminist-artsy stuff like menstrual blood paintings and, idk, Goop nonsense. (And, ultimately, Liv ends up the one actualizing and managing Lizzie's schemes for her.)
Anywhere from 60k to 300k is alright; I really don't care that much, as long as I actually finish the damn thing.
POV should be third person and mostly follow Thomas and Liv. Bud, Otis, and Odette and Oscar Carroway should be supporting characters for everyone else's plotlines.
And at the core of it all, this should AD-esque funny. Or, at least, as close as I can get it.
On his way to try to clean up his father's prison-warranting mess, Thomas and RT run into a young woman named Liv. RT has a crush on her; Thomas immediately develops a crush and notes that Liv reminds him of RT's late mother. Odette breaks it to Liv that Otis Dreyfus is her father. Thomas backs off immediately; Rod and Liv have to decide whether they're each comfortable continuing a relationship with their cousin. Liv hangs out with Bud and Uncle Oats. Buddy's thrilled to have a sister; Mona's jealous af. Upon finding out about her supposed paternity, Otis denies having sired Liv; he claims he's never even met Odette Carroway.

So, there's a tumblr post of this tinyfic in which there's a princess prophecied to die the night before her 25th birthday, and the joke is that she realizes this means shes effectively immortal until then and can go around doing wtf she wants. It's a joke post, really, but it's a good idea.
Premise: the doomed girl is destined to die on a specific birthday. Yes, this does mean she will absolutely not die beforehand, period. You could shoot point-blank at her head, and your gun would just jam. You could try to slit her throat and you'd have a bird suddenly fly into your face or a pipe burst above your head or something and make you drop the knife. You just can't kill her until the conditions of the prophecy are fulfilled.
So she decides to become a hero and has to learn along the way how to balance her immortality with her lack of invulnerability. She could suffer mutilations, amputations, head trauma, coma, etc. under the conditions of the prophecy; she just won't die from any of it. She needs to learn how to balance her lack of concern about her death with her growing concern about her life itself.
Meanwhile, the villain should be trying to figure out how to get around the prophecy. It can't be actually thwarted;the villain legit cannot kill her until the conditions are fulfilled. But the villain could otherwise neutralize her beforehand (mutilation, coma, imprisonment, etc.) or attempt to fulfilled the prophecy on a technicality. To put it simply: I really want the villain's plan to be to throw her a birthday party for a birthday she very much isn't having that day, just so the villain can try to properly kill her. It's hilarious.
Set during season three of Supernatural, this crossover should span fall 2007 to spring or summer 2008. Harry, Draco, Ginny, and Delphi will be in their late twenties and must end up in America (probably alongside Snape, Ron, and Hermione) to deal with something Death Eatery (or, possibly, the army of demons that was released by Jake and Azazel). (Maybe they're investigating the first documented case of a demon possessing a wizard or something? Or some demons went after Delphi upon hearing rumors about Voldemort...? Or maybe it's just that a Parseltongue is of interest to the people behind the Apocalypse? Hell, just give me a goddamn prophecy.) Meanwhile, Ruby is trying to manipulate Sam, Dean's time is running out, and the apocalypse is on the horizon.
Canonically, we'll be working with: Sam Winchester/Alexandra Crowe, Draco Malfoy/Delphi Lestrange/Harry Potter/Ginny Weasley, Ron Weasley/Hermione Granger
And for fun, we'll be throwing in subtext for: Alex/Delphi/co (because Alex is all over that seemingly cozy little poly unit), Delphi/Snape (because that's pretty much canon, and it could be fun to have Alex pick up on that shit), Dean/Ginny (because of course he'd be interested), Dean/Hermione and/or Sam/Hermione (because she's a brilliant badass in spite of her flaws), Sam/Harry (because they have a shocking amount in common, honestly), and maybe even Sam/Delphi if there are any sequel installments (because Delphi is pretty explicitly attracted to intelligence and power).
But honestly? Throwing Snape against the Winchesters just seems like the funniest thing ever to happen. Gimme!
(Note that canonically, James Sirius was born in 2004, Albus Severus was born in 2006, Lily Luna was born in 2008, Rose was born in 2005 or 2006, Hugo was born in 2009, and Scorpius was born in 2006. I have no idea yet which kids will exist in Slytherin's Legacy or in what years they will be born. I'm thinking James Sirius Potter for the eldest son and maybe Albus Severus Potter for the younger one and possibly Ruby Narcissa Potter for a hypothetical daughter that Draco wants to have after realizing that Delphi definitely gave birth to two mini-Harrys, and Scorpius Hyperion Malfoy and maybe Lily Minerva Malfoy for Ginny's kids. No concrete ideas for the birthdates yet.)
Whirlwind is much more deadly than the canon version of season two.
First, Joyce is killed on Valentine's Day while Buffy and her friends are at the Bronze. Buffy moves in with Giles while the authorities try to get in contact with her dad.
Then, Jenny is killed around the same time and in roughly the same way as in canon.
Next, Willow and Xander are turned by either Angelus and Dru or Spike and Dru. It all but breaks Buffy, and she attempts to wipe out the Whirlwind once and for all. But it's clearly a suicide mission, and Buffy is turned by Angelus before dusting a single one of them.
So for senior year, Giles, Oz, and Cordelia are the only Scoobies left. They are joined by Kendra, Larry, Harmony, Jonathan, and Amy.
Note: This was originally supposed to be a Wanderer story, but now that Wanderer is just the MCU, maybe I could do a Whirlwind AU for A Bed of Bones instead? Maybe with first the trio getting turned and then Alanna or maybe with just Alanna getting turned. Either way, I want the new Whirlwind to be Angelus, Dru, Spike, and Alanna with Buffy, Willow, and Xander forming their own trio.
Inspired by scenario one from this Dragon Age II kinkmeme prompt, here's what I want.
In an AU in which there's no Naomi, Sam, or Eric, Cait leaves Julia with Barkley and heads off with Constance and Dylan in hopes of finding some way to rescue their parents and everyone else in the castle.
As time passes without them getting any closer to actually breaking the curse, the teens slowly begin to view Cait as less of a governess and more of a mother figure... and so begin the pseudo-Oedipus issues. As their obsession slowly worsens, the relationship takes a turn toward clingy over-protectiveness and increasingly inappropriate touching.
Presumably, there's gotta be some kind of an actual plot in there, but I can't pretend I know what it is atm.
