I'm currently playing a Templar-sided run, and I just reached the courtyard, where Meredith says- and Cullen confirms- that the plan was to arrest Hawke no matter which side they chose.

So what if Meredith hadn't tried to kill Hawke at this point? What if she hadn't bought the idol, had ramped up her aggression on her own initiative, carried out the Rite of Tranquility and jailed the Champion (plus any companions that protested)? What happens next? Do Hawke and the others try to make a break for it, or does Hawke try to go along with it in an attempt to calm the situation down? How much danger is a mage!Hawke in of being made Tranquil? Would the Templars treat Hawke with care for fear of aggravating the situation, or would they be violent? How would the companions react/what would happen to them?

Pairings and everything past Hawke being arrested are up to the author (although if you do decide to include anything like dub/non-con, please keep it off-screen).

Mage!Hawke (any gender) is starting to get into his/her relationship with Fenris. Rivalmance would probably work best for this prompt.

Fenris still snarls quite a bit and often says unpleasant things about mages. That, and his relations with Hawke are usually rough and leave Hawke with various bite marks and bruises. The two are very much in love though. Anders, who cares very much for Hawke, only sees the seemingly bitter side of the relationship and starts to worry. He's not just jealous, he is actually concerned for Hawke's health and sanity while he's with someone who says he's against everything Hawke is and stands for.

Cue Anders confronting Fenris and Hawke. Maybe the "wild dog" scene can be added in. No asshole!Anders please, that's not what I'm looking for at all. Just a protective Anders who needs convincing by both Hawke and Fenris that he doesn't have to stand guard outside of the mansion to make sure no one gets hurt.

Zevran, much to his horror, has realised that he's in love with F!PC (any). I currently have a mod allowing for more than one follower — and, alongside my longtime partner and best friend forever Erandur, I've decided to have Teldryn Sero tag along as well. They're so vastly different, with Erandur being a reformed priest of the Goddess of Love, and Teldryn being, well, Teldryn.
