A dumping ground for various fic prompts. Should any of these receive actual writing installments, they'll be deleted from here and reposted to the WIP Fic Post.
It only happened once between them and it was extremely awkward for both of the blushing virgins, but once is sometimes all it takes. The Warden (bit of a preference for F!Amell) got pregnant shortly before being taken away to become a Grey Warden. Quite miraculously she even gave birth, in spite of the whole drinking darkspawn blood and getting shot full of arrows and other unpleasant encounters during that year. Even when she returns to the Tower, Cullen is in such a state that she decides not to tell him of their child. After that she never really gets a chance to.
Cut to a decade later and the Warden is contacted by the Inquisition. Being that she's off on another epic quest, she can't make it to Skyhold. But there is a certain ten year old she can send in her place.
BONUS
*Little Warden and Kieran. Anything between these two, I assume Kieran rarely gets to play with kids his own age.
*Little Warden has always known who their father was, but finds it difficult to confront Cullen about it, instead just sort of following him around Skyhold waiting for a chance to speak with him.
*Little Warden is more adept at fighting than one would think for a ten year old. Whether it's spurred by magic or just the fact they were technically born a Grey Warden. Obviously the Inquisition isn't going to send a child out to fight darkspawn, but Bull or someone else notices this and decides to start sparring with the kid, finding it actually really freaking difficult to get a leg up on them.
Person A making it a point to leave hickeys on Person B’s neck before B has to go out to an important meeting. Bonus if it is pointed out in front of everyone by a genuinely curious Person C.
AU where Jon and Robb are companion bed slaves of anyone you like, and start to develop ~feelings for one another. Threesomes, sneaking, and infidelity all welcome.
Desperate times call for desperate measures. this anon needs to see First Enchanter whoring himself off for political benefits. Can be to Meredith, m! or f!Hawke, or even Viscount Dumar, OPanon doesn't care. OP just needs some desperate Orsino willing to do anything for the good of his cause.
Last time I was playing through the 3rd chapter of the game I have noticed how fiercely Meredith and Orsino were fighting to get Hawke's support for their goals - with Meredith bringing up Quentin at the worst possible moments and trying to prove to Hawke that every mage are blood mages, while Orsino is practically begging for Hawke's help and is showering him/her with gifts. Now, we all know that Orsino is both clever and desperate, and this anon wonders how far would he go! So, what if he noticed once that Hawke's eyes linger on him longer than they should? (He isn't all that bad after all!) What if he realized that he would probably have more success in manipulating Hawke through more "carnal ways"? Just think about it, anons!
Okay, here's a prompt that's been going round my head for a while now. Basically, I'm after sex seen through the eyes of a concealed observer.
So someone, NPC or OC of your choice, stumbles across the DB having sex. Could be out in the wilds, by walking into the wrong room at an inn, anywhere. They know it's the great and powerful dovahkiin, they know they shouldn't be watching, but - they can't stop. The watcher can know the DB well, or not; they can feel horribly jealous, or not; they can be friends with the DB's partner and have this as their first glimpse of the DB themselves, even. Whatever. What are their reactions? Do they get caught watching, or not? In my mind, it doesn't end up with them joining in, but I'll leave that to Author!Anon's discretion.
Bonus points for: + Mer races, especially Dunmer. I have a huuuuge thing for Dunmer/Altmer pairings. Dunno why. + DB behaving in a very un-DBish way (whatever that means to you!), or one or other party behaving in a way that shocks/surprises the observer.
I'm less fond of the beast races, but the final decision is yours. I'd just love to see a fill!
I have a secret love for this-kink? trope? plot device? idk what to call it - where a monster turns out to be not so monstrous after all, and the hero falls for them. Earlier today I finished Here Lies The Abyss, and I thought... what if Nightmare didn't kill the person you leave in the Fade.
Instead of killing Hawke/the Warden, Nightmare leaves them to relive their worst nightmares over and over, and to eventually die from thirst/starvation/heart attack/etc. But the person turns out to be very resistant and resourceful, they find food & water, make themselves a little camp, fight off any minor demons that wander too close and other than being stuck in the Fade forever, they seem quite fine. So Nightmare starts talking to them again, they talk back, and eventually, kinda sorta romance happens. Or the closest equivalent to romance that a demon is capable of, a lot of possessiveness and lack of urge to hurt his partner?
+ not crack ++ Nightmare has some less gross form that he uses to chill when no one is actively invading his realm ++ somehow incorporate this bit of trivia I found on DA wiki: According to Cole and The Spirit of Faith, this demon originally started off with the desire to help: taking fear away so people could move on. However, over time its desire to consume fear and power twisted it into what it became. Maybe Nightmare becoming less demon-y and more spirit-y? +++ creepy demon courting +++++++++ the Inquisitor finds a way to come back and rescue the person they left in the Fade, but the person is reluctant to leave
Squicks: bathroom stuff, gore, major character death, really extreme monster/tentacle sex? like some tentacles are fiiiine, but things like... eggs, mind-controlling slime, body modifications etc are not really my cup of tea. But as long as they're clearly marked and skippable, I've nothing against including this in the story :)
Order of preference for the person left in the Fade: Alistair, m!Hawke, f!Hawke, Loghain, other wardens (Bethany, Carver, Anders etc), Stroud
Dragon Age, Varric +/ any, Varric keeps telling outrageous stories, only the least believable ones are actually true (Hawke, intrepid rescuer of kittens, Inquisitor Lavellan is an actual Disney Princess with birds and small animals singing and helping out, etc. Go nuts :D)
Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Buffy Summers + Kendra Young (+ Faith Lehane), the original Chosen Two survived, how would this affect the events of "Chosen"?
