The first time he looked at her, she was nothing to him, just another pretty face among dozens of the like and not even the prettiest of the bunch. It's only later when he truly sees her, sees the way her jaw sets and her eyes burn as she swishes her hair over her shoulder with a kind of palpable fury as she sets her eyes on him for the first time. From that moment, he was lost, his determination to have this defiant, aggressive, shamefully young woman set in stone.
Now when he looks at her, she is everything.
